The powerchair soccer or powerchair football – is a team sport derived from soccer, specially designed for people using an electric wheelchair. Athletes use a bumper mounted on the electric wheelchair to hit a ball that is twice the size of a traditional soccer ball.
It allows you to experience the adrenaline and excitement of a team sport, while fostering a strong sense of competition within a supportive and passionate community.

Powerchair soccer pits two teams of four players (including a goalkeeper) against each other. Games consist of two 20-minute periods. The team that scores the most goals wins the match.
The court measures 28 meters by 15 meters (basketball court). Two removable posts spaced six meters apart mark the goal area. The ball has a diameter of 33 centimeters.
The speed of the wheelchair is limited to 10 km/h.
In the penalty area, only two athletes from the defending team can move simultaneously (including the goalkeeper).
A foul is committed if an athlete blocks an opponent’s movement, violently collides with an opponent, or if the charge is made with any part of the body other than the bumper. Non-violent and unintentional contact is permitted. The ball is then awarded to the team that was fouled.
The front bumper of the wheelchair allows the ball to be struck and driven and ensures the athlete’s safety.
