Parasports Québec is the leading parasports federation in Quebec.
It promotes and develops the practice of parasports across the province by ensuring the full governance of 7 disciplines and collaborating with other federations that wish to take part in the parasports movement.
In operation for over 40 years, Parasports Québec offers the keys to fulfillment through sport to Quebecers who wish to find their own playground and go beyond limits in an inclusive environment.

Strategic Plan
The new planning and its process
In 2024, the strategic plan was updated for the next four years. The new strategic plan is based on the intervention areas of the previous plan and builds on what has been initiated in recent years.
In the spring of 2024, Parasports Québec initiated the first steps in developing the plan. The previous strategic plan, developed in 2019, had successfully outlined the key directions to guide all subsequent actions. However, the implementation of this plan was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, the identified directions remain relevant for the new exercise.
The firm Plan Humain was selected to support the strategic committee and survey all stakeholders in the organization as part of this mandate.
A detailed survey was sent to all members of the organization. This survey gave the organization the opportunity to gather members’ views on all aspects of the organization: membership, issues, strengths and weaknesses.
A meeting was organized with the entire Parasports Québec team for a day of discussions. This meeting allowed the team to share their vision and dreams for the organization. Three subsequent meetings were held with the strategic committee to consolidate all the information gathered and to move smoothly towards implementing the strategic plan for the coming years.

To provide strong leadership in the coordination of parasports organizations, and in the development and promotion of parasports in Quebec.
Participation
Promoting participation in parasports, beyond our own disciplines, in order to improve the quality of life of people living with a disability.
Excellence
